EcoCity World Summit
25-27th September 2013
This annual event gathered international sustainable city players from both public and private sectors. The programme of this event was divided into five main themes linked to sustainable city: reducing the ecological footprint, addressing the energy challenges of the city, strengthening solidarity, organising the sustainable city and mobilising enabling factors. Within each topic, four challenges have been addressed during special sessions and meetings organised throughout the 3 days: thinking, shaping, financing and governing. Thereby, a great variety of actors specialised in one or other topics or challenges has contributed to those discussions.
